Anybody Intrested In Developing A Sea Side Of This Site?

If anyone is intrested in helping me develop a sea fishing side/section of this site let me know i can provide all the tools you need you just need to give me your ideas tongue#

Sadly i am not a sea angler and really have no idea where to start with it, would be great to get someone on board to help i think there is a market for it.

Re: Anybody Intrested In Developing A Sea Side Of This Site?

If you are talking Local, why not put up a map of Cornwall with red dots on to mark marks( fishing spots) and then when clicked on one of the dots a mark will come up with information. I used to do alot afew years back and know alot of places that will produce fish and where to go to catch different species if you are into hunting certain fish.
It might be worth getting info on size limits.
Also I can give info on the Isles of Scilly as I fished there for nearly three years solid, so anyone wanting togo there for a trip it might be worth them knowing abit about where to go.
also pictures of different fish species so people can look up what they have caught..Also rigs etc.

Just afew Ideas Si.
If you want any info on spots then just let us know

As the waves reached the bank in the glimmering moonlight, I knew it was some unknown, some unseen before monster that as never been in the presence of an human being. The hunt had started.

Re: Anybody Intrested In Developing A Sea Side Of This Site?

There seems to be very little happening here or in the sea section, I know some of the anglers fishing the RAC waters enjoy a bit of sea fishing, Rumour has it there is a fish or two being caught at the moment and the balmy summer evenings(when it stops pissing with rain) are now fading away again. It may be a laugh to get a few of us together at some chosen location for a bit of a fish and mess about. Never know we could even catch summit!
If anyone fancies it for a laugh make your mark and throw any ideas into the pot..
That includes you John "the raffle" Shelton...

Re: Anybody Intrested In Developing A Sea Side Of This Site?

I reckon a sea sid eto thid forum would be good as I, like a lot of anglers, love to sea fish as much as coarse fish.

One small point; as this is called "Fishing Southwest" I think it should include Devon, Cornwall and Somerset; maybe even Dorset ( mainly to include Chesil Beach ).

I've been fishing the shores of the southwest for more than 30 years and would be more than happy to help in any way I can.

Blimey some interest!!!
A few of us have been talking just this week on this matter, and before I go too far with it, I need to get the Main man on the subject to see what plans he has in mind, so watch this space....
