RIVER MONSTERS

Anyone see the TV programme on last night about giant catfish, especially the cats in the Ebro in Spain. Scary to think just how big they buggers could achieve

Re: RIVER MONSTERS

Not seen much of this program but seen Jeremy Wade's jungle hooks series on sky, have more respect for him than that Muppet robson green.

Re: RIVER MONSTERS

As yorkie said, gets more respect than Knobson in my book too, I have watched some of his programs, Jungle Hooks etc and he's ok, he has a genuine intrest in the fish, not just getting it on the bank and very lucky to have a job like that!!

Re: RIVER MONSTERS

God watched River Monsters this week, set in Australia, all about the Bull sharks and its ability to live in salt and fresh water. They have actually moved as far as 80 miles in land, living in the rivers and lakes, how scary is that !!! No wading above the knee is fine by me !!!

Re: RIVER MONSTERS

I think I am right in saying that Jaws was based on a similar thing in America with bull sharks in a river back in about 1920

Re: RIVER MONSTERS

Yea no drama, seen one on small pool, they only give a little nip, but go quite well on light tackle!
